I’ve always loved this song by Lissie.

And I’ll fall on my knees

Tell me how’s the way to go

Tell me how’s the way to see

Tell me why I feel so low

Reminds me of home
When you’re around me
Next time you leave
Don’t go without me

I want to see this movie really bad. I love love love this song.

Lindsey, this one is for you. I love you sis. I just totally danced to this song in the kitchen. hahaha

I’ve always liked Demi lovato. She actually writes good music. She is pretty much the only Disney Channel star that I like.

Honest song. Lovely.

God knows what is hiding in those weak and drunken hearts
I guess you kissed the girls and made them cry
Those Hardfaced Queens of misadventure
God knows what is hiding in those weak and sunken eyes
A Fiery throng of muted angels
Giving love but getting nothing back

People help the people
And if you’re homesick, give me your hand and I’ll hold it
People help the people
And nothing will drag you down
Oh and if I had the brain, Oh and if I had the brain
I’d be cold as a stone and rich as the fool
That turned all those good hearts away

God knows what is hiding in this world of little consequence
Behind the tears, inside the lies
A thousand slowly dying sunsets
God knows what is hiding in those weak and drunken hearts
I guess the loneliness came knocking
No one needs to be alone, oh save me

People help the people
And if you’re homesick, give me your hand and I’ll hold it
People help the people
Nothing will drag you down
Oh and if I had the brain, Oh and if I had the brain
I’d be cold as a stone and rich as the fool
That turned, all those good hearts away

People help the people
And if you’re homesick, give me your hand and I’ll hold it
People help the people
Nothing will drag you down
Oh and if I had the brain, Oh and if I had the brain
I’d be cold as a stone and rich as the fool
That turned all those good hearts away

She sings this song with conviction and true passion. I feel like this song is about how she follows others but knows if she follows too long she will lose herself. She so quickly sees the good in the pack. She has a pure heart, and enters the pack with hope and innocence. She believes most others are pure of heart. She begins to notice all of their flaws. The flaws are represented by the red scarves tied around their throats. She is lost in a pack, and wants out. She notices Michael is the one person that still has a sense of identity. He has independence. Michael chooses to retain his independence at all costs. Michael falls in the snow. The snow is freedom from the binding of the pack. He lets loose from the constraints of their coats. He dies, but the girl finds his effort beautiful.

Sibylle Baier is a German folk singer and actress. She recorded her songs in private in the early 1970s. Having played guitar and piano as a young girl, she was moved to write her first song, “Remember The Day”, after taking a road trip with a friend across the Alps to Genoa. She appeared in Wim Wenders’ 1973 film Alice in the Cities, and her music also featured in Umarmungen und andere Sachen (1975), a German Jochen Richter film set in Bavaria about three romantically involved bank robbers. Baier opted not to pursue an acting or singing career, and moved to America where she concentrated on raising a family.

The songs that went on to make up her album Colour Green were home reel-to-reel tape recordings Baier had made in Germany between 1970 and 1973.

This song sounds like it is from the depths of a woman’s soul. Her spirit is pourn into this song.
